The Queen's Classroom

Excited to start 6th grade, Kazumi Kanda arrives at school full of hope. But her new homeroom teacher Maya Akutsu turns everything into a nightmare.

Hikaru is forced to take Kazumi's place after defending her, and Yusuke has his own issues to handle. Maya is approached by concerned moms.

The kids perform a dance for the school's anniversary. Maya threatens punishment for students who dance poorly, but Kazumi plans to protect them.

Maya separates the class into groups to divide and conquer, but Kazumi's group isn't off to a good start. Meanwhile, another student's wallet is stolen.

Kazumi is bullied and isolated by her class for not telling who stole Mari's wallet. Meanwhile, Yusuke has been absent for school for an unknown reason.

Maya declares there is no summer vacation in her classroom and good grades will be praised. But Kazumi tries to remind everyone of what's important.

The new semester starts, but Kazumi and her friends have an even harder time adjusting when Maya decides to completely ignore them.

As the students prepare to enter middle school, Hikaru raises objections against Maya's focus on tests alone. A fight breaks out in class 6-3.

Maya gives each student a paper with not only their grades but also secrets and lies they told over the past months as parent-teacher conferences start.

As the class comes together, they decide on a cleaning schedule despite Maya's rules. Meanwhile, the school board gets word of Maya's classroom tactics.
