Heartbroken after his first girlfriend dumps him, Kazuya rents a date through an app. She's gorgeous, but something about her behavior just feels off.

Kazuya and Chizuru learn they'll be seeing a lot of each other, whether they like it or not. Later, he gets an unexpected request from his grandmother.

Kazuya apologizes to Chizuru, but gets an unemotional response. A few days later, a trip to the beach presents an opportunity to win Mami back.

After a heart-racing moment with Mami, Kazuya gets another call from his grandmother and finally decides it's time to end his arrangement with Chizuru.

Kazuya loses consciousness after rescuing Chizuru, so she takes drastic measures. Later, the Kinoshita family heads to a hot spring resort to celebrate.

Kazuya spends a sleepless night wondering how Chizuru really feels about him. Back in Tokyo, Kuribayashi invites them on a double date.

Worried that Ruka will spill the beans about Chizuru, Kazuya follows and pleads with her to keep quiet, but she surprises him with a secret of her own.

Kazuya starts to regret the deal he made with Ruka. As Christmas approaches, he spots Chizuru on a date with someone who doesn't look like a client.

Kazuya's excitement over Chizuru's gift fades when he learns it wasn't just for him. Later, Ruka drags him on a date to a surprising location.

Kazuya, worried about Kuribayashi's recent strange behavior, asks Chizuru for a favor. In return, she later asks him to help with a girl she's mentoring.
