After a fatal accident, a Japanese salaryman is reborn into another world as Shin and becomes the adopted grandchild of Merlin the magician.

It's the day of the big entrance exam and Shin meets a number of interesting personalities at the school. His magical abilities surprise everyone.

Shin's teacher and classmates talk him into founding and leading a new club. Meanwhile, Kurt's increasingly erratic behavior leads to consequences.

Shin explains what may have happened to Kurt. Diseum announces a royal commendation for Shin but his guardians worry about the political consequences.

Shin realizes that Schtrom still lives and he must prepare himself and his allies for a future altercation. Meanwhile, the Empire prepares for war.

Schtrom makes sure Emperor Herald is far too late to save his city. Meanwhile, Shin and his classmates learn they'll be doing physical training.

Shin's team succeeds in the training session, teaching him a valuable lesson about cooperation. Later, he hears some troubling news about the demons.

The group heads to Claude to undergo training with Merlin and Melinda, but additional resources will be needed to combat Schtrom and his demons.

Sicily asks Shin to meet her parents to discuss their new relationship, leading to an even more awkward encounter with his own guardians.

The completion of Schtrom's revenge plans spells the end of the Bluesphere Empire. He explains the tragedy in his past that drove him to hate it.
