M-1 Grand Prix

Nakagawake, Harigane Rock, Americazarigani and the still-green Kirin vie to become Japan's top comedians, marking the start of the M-1 Grand Prix.

Masuda Okada, Football Hour, Ogiyahagi and more make an appearance for the second year in a row. Waraimeshi bring along their silly antics.

Football Hour, who are already popular in Kansai, kick off the third round. Untouchable return, this time stronger than ever.

Untouchable return to the finals. Taka and Toshi bring their polished straight-man routine and the unusual male-female duo Nankai Candies appear.

Round five is filled with many must-see duos including a new and improved Black Mayonnaise and female duo Asian, who make their competition debut.

Many unique, fresh faces, including a five-person group called The Plan Nine, appear along with regulars like Tutorial and Football Hour.

Surprising results for Sandwichman await in the seventh round, which also sees an appearances from rising female duo Harisenbon.

The eighth round sees an onslaught of first appearances from great comedians like Knights, NON STYLE and Audrey.

Last year's champions NON STYLE return and Waraimeshi appear for the eighth year in a row. Punk Booboo and Haraichi also appear in the ninth round.

The tenth round sees another fantastic performance by Waraimeshi. Ginshari, Jaru Jaru and more also appear along with the unique Slimclub.
