Following the defeat of Majin Buu, Goku puts off working on his farm in order to train. Mr. Satan receives an award for supposedly saving Earth.

Vegeta fulfills his promise to Trunks by going on a family vacation. Beerus starts to remember the reason why he woke up from his 39-year slumber.

The Old Supreme Kai tries to keep Goku in the dark about Beerus. Beerus confirms that the being in his dream is called "Super Saiyan God."

Pilaf notices his Dragon Radar beeping while looking for treasure on an uninhabited island. Goku finds that King Kai has been acting strange lately.

Beerus arrives on King Kai's planet and asks Goku about the Super Saiyan God. As Beerus prepares to leave, Goku challenges him to a sparring match.

Bulma invites Beerus and Whis to her birthday party. Vegeta desperately tries to keep Beerus in a good mood in order to protect his family and Earth.

Trunks and Goten fuse into Gotenks, but he has no effect on Beerus. Bulma marches up to the God of Destruction for ruining her birthday party.

Beerus chooses Oolong as his next opponent, merely for the fact that he resembles Majin Buu. The fate of Earth rests on a game of rock-paper-scissors.

A Super Saiyan God is born when five righteous Saiyans pour their hearts into a sixth Saiyan, but there are currently only five Saiyans on Earth.

Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan God but has trouble calibrating his strength as he demonstrates his new powers against Beerus.
