The year 199X: nuclear war has bred a violent world where only the strong survive. Kenshiro, sole successor to a deadly martial art, must face fate.

Kenshiro succeeds in retrieving seeds stolen by Spade, but this leads to a massacre of the village. Shaking with rage, Kenshiro goes to battle.

Lin is captured by King’s men, so Kenshiro heads to Dorado, which is occupied by King’s gang, and gets embroiled in a fight with Diamond and Club.

After his men are killed by Kenshiro, Shin sends Heart to assassinate him. Kenshiro has trouble in finding Heart’s vital spot to finish him off.

Shin has stolen Yuria away from Kenshiro. Kenshiro now pursues them to Shin’s castle, but they are nowhere to be found.

Kenshiro takes a break in a desert oasis, but it turns out to be run by a group calling themselves God’s Army. The leader decides to pick a fight.

Kenshiro becomes enraged when he sees the leader of God’s Army -- a practitioner of a rival martial art -- execute an innocent family.

Kenshiro is enraged by the cruelty of God’s Army and confronts the Colonel, but the Colonel’s ability to foresee his movements proves formidable.

A sorceress named Patra controls a lake, turning the thirsty villagers into slaves, but Kenshiro discovers she’s secretly being controlled by Dragon.

Patra and Dragon control a lake, oppressing the villagers. Dragon promises to betray Shin and asks Kenshiro to work together with him.
