Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions

After making a string of errors in a serial killer investigation, detective Totomaru Isshiki turns to eccentric private eye Ron Kamonohashi for help.

A reinvigorated Ron helps Toto investigate a seemingly trivial case involving a woman who claims that some money has disappeared from her piggy bank.

Ron wins tickets for a hot springs trip and takes Toto along. At the inn, they meet the staff — which includes an undercover instructor from BLUE.

The BLUE instructor hopes to catch Ron doing detective work, but Ron makes it seem as though Toto is leading the investigation into the woman's death.

Eagle-eyed detective Kawasemi comes to assist Toto's division with a serial murder case. As he and Toto examine a new victim, a costumed Ron appears.

During a live broadcast of a TV show that investigates supernatural abilities, a psychic seems to kill an audience member merely by writing a word.

Toto and Ron arrive on an island to attend a meteor shower viewing party at an observatory. They learn that murders occurred there 10 years earlier.

With everyone else at the observatory having solid alibis, Grizzly thinks Ron is the killer — until Toto shows him the data recorded by the telescope.

Toto reveals the truth behind the murders and identifies the culprit, who, after admitting their guilt, suddenly takes a drastic course of action.

Toto goes to a café with a journalist who wants to write a feature about him and finds Ron behind the counter. Soon after, a customer is murdered.
