The Survey Corps must retake the Shinganshina District to access Eren's basement, but a sleeping titan in the way imperils their mission.

Armin wakes up with no memory of recent events. Later, Eren and Levi enter Shinganshina and head to the basement of Eren's former home.

The story of Eren's father, Grisha, continues. An unfortunate encounter sparks a tragedy that leads him to understand the cruel reality of his world.

The Owl explains his motivations to Grisha and gives him one final mission to save Eldia. Meanwhile, Eren and the Survey Corps go see Queen Historia.

Historia decides to let the truth be known, causing shock among the populace. Still upset about the loss of Erwin, Floch confronts Armin and Eren.
