Call of the Night

As Niko's group encourages Ko to find success in romance, Hatsuka takes Nazuna out for drinks to offer advice on how to win Ko's affection.

After Mahiru introduces Ko to the mysterious woman he has befriended, Ko soon realizes her true nature. Later, Nazuna tells Ko about the woman's past.

Anko suddenly attacks Akkun, but Seri and Hatsuka soon come to the rescue. Ko and the others make a startling discovery about the vampires' weakness.

In the hospital where Kabura works, Ko and Nazuna explore a supposedly haunted room and discover a photograph that sheds light on Nazuna's past.

As Kabura describes her connection to Haru Nanakusa, she reveals how she became a vampire — as well as the secret of Nazuna's birth.

Hoping to uncover her past as a human, Midori brings Nazuna and Ko to visit her devoted offspring, who says he has collected many of her old items.

While wandering around Nazuna's old high school, Ko stumbles upon a diary that mentions her. He learns that it was written by her first human friend.

Ten years earlier, Kyoko continues investigating her father with Nazuna. Later, Nazuna opens up to her about being a vampire and makes a suggestion.

Nazuna tells the others about her connection to Anko and resolves to stop her. Later, on the night of Halloween, Anko shoots Niko amid a crowd.

Nazuna becomes enraged when Anko says she will kill Ko. As the two fight, Anko sends a text message to Ko, who comes running as soon as he reads it.
