The Best Years

When an over-the-top children's birthday party shakes their confidence as parents, Louise and Mathias agree to throw their son Svend his own big bash.

Despite her hectic life, Louise seeks more responsibility at work to prove she can keep up. Mathias plans a rowdy night out to reclaim some of his youth.

After visiting her posh sister Laura, Louise tries to prove her family can be stylish too. Mathias' search history lands him in trouble at work.

Louise invites her parents to stay at their chaotic home – while Mathias juggles trying to teach Finn to sleep in his own bed with potty-training Svend.

Feeling self-conscious about a spa weekend with her friends, Louise begins a frantic training regimen just as Mathias tries to spice up their love life.

After getting a call about her grandmother's health, Louise and her family gather at the hospital to pay their respects — and argue over inheritance.

When Svend's nursery school gives him a negative assessment, Mathias and Louise take the grade personally and begin to examine their own shortcomings.

At Laura's lavish engagement party, Louise runs into an ex-boyfriend and begins to question her relationship with Mathias.
