W – Two Worlds Apart

Intern doctor Oh Yeon-joo gets an unexpected request from her professor concerning her father's webtoon. Soon after, she learns he has disappeared.

Yeon-joo visits her father Seong-moo, who is hostile to her questions about his recent whereabouts. Seong-moo starts drawing again to kill Kang Chul.

Yeon-joo loses consciousness, only to wake up in the webtoon again. Kang Chul escorts her to his penthouse but doesn’t get the answers he wants.

Kang Chul is convinced that Yeon-joo is the key to unlocking life’s mysteries. He heads to the jail Yeon-joo is held at and demands she give answers.

On his way to Yeon-joo’s hospital, Kang Chul comes across an advertisement for a webtoon featuring himself. After some reading, he is in deep shock.

Yeon-joo rushes to her father, but he has been shot. Kang Chul leaves a farewell letter before heading for the bridge to complete his denouement.

Kang Chul wakes up in his bed as if nothing's amiss. Back in the webtoon world, Yeon-joo floats the idea to him about creating a sequel of their own.

When Yeon-joo’s hand starts bleeding unlike before, Kang Chul fears she may die. Meanwhile, the real killer points a gun at her in the real world.

In the webtoon world, Yeon-joo is upset when Kang Chul doesn’t recognize her. Seong-moo devises a happy ending by choosing a convincing real killer.

Unable to return to the real world, Yeon-joo spends time at the hospital. Kang Chul notes the way she looks at him. A decade-old truth may resurface.
