In Capernaum, on the Sea of Galilee, the Romans ask Nicodemus to perform an exorcism on Lilith, but he is appalled at what he witnesses.

After Jesus frees Lilith from her demons, she reveals her true identity as Mary Magdalene. Meanwhile, Simon prepares to betray his friends for money.

Young Abigail, Joshua and their friends meet Jesus in the woods and start listening to his teachings.

Afraid of being double-crossed, Quintus enlists Matthew to spy on the fisherman, who gives up hope until he witnesses a miracle.

Jesus and his followers travel to Cana for a wedding, where soon the hosts run out of wine. Only a miracle can save the day.

After Jesus asks Simon to return to Caparneum and attend to his family, the Messiah heals a leper. Word of his miracles begins to spread.

Quintus feels threatened by the new preacher, Jesus, and asks Nicodemus to meet with him and report back.

While Matthew hosts a dinner with Jesus and the other disciples at his home, Nicodemus is torn as to which path to take.
