Head writer Liz Lemon is in for a bumpy ride when exec Jack Donaghy retools "The Girlie Show," hiring actor Tracy Jordan and pushing Liz to the brink.

Liz scrambles to keep the show afloat with its unpredictable new star, Tracy — and the two throw a party in hopes of uniting the fractured crew.

Jack sets up Liz on a blind date. Wriggling even further into the personal lives of his staff, Jack crashes the writers' weekly poker game.

Liz bans Jack from the writers' room to regain her authority, while Kenneth takes on an exhausting new role as Tracy's personal assistant.

Liz casts Jack in a skit. Meanwhile, Jenna thinks she's going to get the ax, and Liz grows suspicious of Tracy's hatred of cue cards.

Jack takes Liz under his wing after she reunites with her ex-boyfriend. Jenna worries that she's showing her age, and Tracy fears he's lost his edge.

Jenna is scheduled to appear on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" but Jack replaces her with Tracy, who begins to unravel on the day of the show.

Liz dumps her loser boyfriend. Jack struggles in his relationship with a White House official. Tracy and Toofer clash over personal differences.

Liz takes stock of her future and turns to Jenna for support. Jack is bothered by his mom's phone calls, and Josh refuses to stop impersonating Tracy.

Liz tells Jenna that she thinks her new indie film is a disaster. Hoping to avoid bankruptcy, Tracy uses his celebrity to endorse a kitchen appliance.
