Wind Breaker

Delinquent Haruka Sakura enrolls at the infamous Furin High School to fight his way to the top. One day, he helps out a girl who is being harassed.

Sakura meets a fellow first-year student named Nirei but is instantly annoyed by his cheerful attitude. He later finds himself coming to Nirei’s aid.

Sakura and Sugishita's brawl is interrupted by the voice of top Bofurin member Umemiya. Soon after, Sakura goes out on his first patrol with Bofurin.

After the Bofurin members tell Umemiya what happened by the railroad tracks, the leader of Shishitoren appears and challenges Umemiya to a fight.

Umemiya and his schoolmates enter Shishitoren’s rowdy headquarters to begin the one-on-one fights. In the first bout, Sugishita takes on Arima.

In the third round, Bofurin heavy hitter Hiragi goes up against Shishitoren's agile Kota Sako, who quickly puts his opponent on the defensive.

Togame selects Sakura as his opponent. Remembering Umemiya's advice, Sakura takes to the stage but is soon surprised by Togame's sheer speed.

Sensing a change in Togame, Sakura demands to know what he wants. After reflecting on his place in Shishitoren, Togame starts going all out.

As the final fight between the two leaders continues, Tomiyama grows increasingly frustrated by Umemiya's powerful blows and pointed words.

Umemiya, Tomiyama and the others have an after-party, but Sakura can't understand how people who were fighting moments earlier can be so friendly.
