DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai

Dreaming of becoming a brave hero, Dai spends his days training under Brass, a monster who treats him like a son. One day, a mysterious boat arrives.

Dai is tasked with guiding Princess Leona to the Earth Cave to undergo a ritual. They arrive safely — only to be greeted by a fierce monster attack.

Brass urges Dai to flee the island when its monsters suddenly turn violent. Just as Dai defiantly refuses, a hero trainer named Avan appears.

Dai continues his intensive training to master new fighting skills. He faces off against Avan, who has transformed into a giant fire-breathing dragon.

Critically wounded after shielding his students, Avan summons all of his strength to face Hadlar. Dai and Popp helplessly watch the battle unfold.

Dai and Popp set sail for the Romos Kingdom. After finding themselves lost in a dark forest, they get some guidance from a girl with a magical gun.

Thanks to Maam's sharpshooting, Dai repels Crocodine with a powerful slash. Meanwhile, the Mystic Bishop Zaboera appears on Dermline Island.

With Maam now in the group, Dai and Popp reach Romos Castle but must stay in town for the night. Dai reunites with some hoodwinking heroes at an inn.

Too afraid to leave the safety of the inn, Popp hears some brave words from the miscreant Mage. An enraged Crocodine raises his axe to finish off Dai.

Hadlar summons the remaining Legion Commanders to the Sovereign Rock Castle. Meanwhile, Dai, Popp and Maam head for the Papnica Kingdom by ship.
