Rubí

Rubí explains in an interview how 20 years ago, while living in a poor neighborhood, she wanted to steal Héctor, her friend Maribel's rich boyfriend.

An unexpected reaction from Héctor causes Maribel to have a meltdown. Rubí and Alejandro end up kissing on the occasion of a group outing.

Love blossoms between Rubí and Alejandro. After visiting his home and discovering that he is not a millionaire, Rubí breaks up with him.

Determined to forget Alejandro, Rubí resolves to seduce Héctor, who falls in love with her and jilts Maribel at the altar on their wedding day.

Maribel is devastated. Alejandro discovers that Rubí left for Spain with Héctor. Shortly after, Alejandro and Sonia attend a conference in Spain.

The wife of Héctor's partner finds out that Rubí wants a divorce. With Lucas's help, the young woman hastily sets a plan in motion to escape Spain.

Back in Mexico, Rubí visits her ailing mother. She reunites with her sister Cristina but they argue. Rubí doesn't approve of the men Cristina chooses.
