On September 3, 2011, Jenni Rivera started to taste real career success when she gave a sold-out show in Los Angeles. She had always dreamed of it.

Jenni’s brothers find her dying. Trino is at the eye of the storm and his life is miserable. Pedro takes the next step in getting custody of Chiquis.

Pedro visits Jenni with the whole family and they tell her that Trino left because of Chiquis. Jenni calls home and hears horrible news.

Doña Rosa finds a note that will result in serious consequences. Jenni has her first public performance. Meanwhile Trino tries to get closer to her.

Jenni goes into therapy and re-examines her life and the hell she went through with Trino. Trino moves heaven and earth to talk to Jenni.

Pedro sees a brilliant future for Jenni and offers her a job at his record label, but her mother won’t allow it. Trino gives his ex a present.

Jenni decides who she’ll celebrate her graduation with. Trino, still obsessed with her, gets drunk and causes problems.

When visiting Trino, Jenni confronts an enemy and surprises Don Pedro and Doña Rosa with some unexpected news. Tere and Trino fight.

Convinced she owes Chiquis a family, Jenni gets back with Trino, who tries his best to change and show her love. However, his dark side resurfaces.

Trino’s unhealthy jealousy makes Jenni’s life a living hell. Meanwhile, Rosa is worried about her. Ramona thinks Pete is cheating on her.
