Lee Ji-hyeok is good-looking and good at his job. Naturally, his family wonders why he won’t get married, not realizing he is purposefully unmarried.

Ji-hyeok declares emancipation, but he is met with resistance from his family. Meanwhile, Eun-o confesses to Ji-hyeok with the help of Sung-jae.

After getting rejected by Ji-hyeok, Eun-o strives to keep her composure. Meanwhile, Ji-hyeok resigns from work, only to bemoan his capped potential.

The unemployed struggle to find jobs. Eun-o is trying to resolve her feelings for Ji-hyeok when a rich lady appears. Ji-hyeok gets a special proposal.

Ji-hyeok abruptly announces his intentions to wed, and a pre-wedding meeting is arranged. Seong-hui proposes a lucrative design project to Eun-o.

After a heated argument, Ji-hyeok leaves home. Amidst the chaos, Ji-wan fights to land a stable job. Sung-jae tries to console a disappointed Eun-o.

The family grows anxious when Ji-hyeok’s phone number goes missing. An angry Eun-o purges Ji-hyeok’s items. Sang-cheol struggles with his job search.

Eun-o is confused at the sudden change in Ji-hyeok. The two clash as he starts a business in a storage space, leading to Eun-o's explosive remark.

With tension between the two, Eun-o tries to keep her distance from Ji-hyeok, but all they do is bicker. Sang-cheol looks to keep busy in his retirement.

While spending more time with Sung-jae, Eun-o vents about a resentful Ji-hyeok. Eun-o forms a friendship with Seong-hui through work at the art space.
