War looms as seven chosen mages from around the world are summoned to battle one another for control of the miracle-granting Holy Grail.

Saber observes Irisviel and Kiritsugu, a killer meets a kindred spirit, and the final mage arrives in Fuyuki City, the setting of the Holy Grail War.

There is relief among the mages with Assassin out of the picture. While Iri and Saber are out touring Fuyuki City, they are challenged to a duel.

Saber and Lancer battle as the others are drawn to watching the two skillful epic heroes attack each other. There is an interruption, however.

What began as a duel between Lancer and Saber becomes an all-out melee as several of the fighters' Noble Phantasms are revealed in combat.

It’s a case of mistaken identity when Caster addresses Saber as "Jeanne." When Saber denies the possibility, Caster insists she’s lost her memory.

The battle is on hold as the group decides what to do about Ryunosuke Uryu and his servant, Caster, who have been kidnapping and sacrificing children.

As Saber and Lancer fight wave after wave of Caster's demonic minions, a powerful enemy confronts Iri as she flees the castle with Maiya.

Lancer finds Kayneth in a dire situation. Meanwhile, Kiritsugu ignores Saber's advice about Caster, instead setting out to finish off Kayneth.

As children continue to disappear from Fuyuki City, young Rin, Tokiomi’s daughter, tries to locate her best friend, who isn’t responding to her calls.
