A former child actress who racked up a Daytime Emmy playing Susan Lucci's illegitimate daughter on '"All My Children'" (1993-95), Sarah Michelle Gellar was born in New York City on April 14, 1977.After leaving the world of daytime soaps, Gellar shot to stardom as '"Buffy the Vampire Slayer'" (1997-2003) and soon found her way to the big screen, appearing alongside other hot young stars in a string of films (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2 and Cruel Intentions) before bringing a classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon to life in Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004).
