Rosemarie DeWitt
Native New Yorker Rosemarie DeWitt -- born Oct. 26, 1974, in Queens -- decided on a career in acting after witnessing a Broadway production of "A Streetcar Named Desire." After honing her skills at Hofstra University and the Actors Center, DeWitt quickly began to make a name for herself in theater circles, appearing in "Small Tragedy," for which she and her co-stars won an Obie Award.

Television and film roles were quick to follow, including bits parts in Cinderella Man (2005) and Off the Black (2006), a leading role in the short-lived TV series "Standoff" and a recurring role on the award-winning drama "Mad Men."

The year 2008 proved to be a banner one for DeWitt, with the actress landing a role on Showtime's black comedy "The United States of Tara" and playing the titular character in the acclaimed Rachel Getting Married, for which she received an Independent Spirit Award nod.
