Rose Byrne
Rose ByrneAn Australian actress with expressive eyes who has been compared to Audrey Hepburn, Rose Byrne was born in Sydney on July 24, 1979. She launched her acting career at age 8 with the Australian Theatre for Young People and landed her first film role in Dallas Doll at age 13.

Eagled-eyed sci-fi fans will recognize Byrne as one of Senator Amidala's aides in Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. But she also appeared more prominently in the historical epic Troy alongside Brad Pitt and fellow Aussie Eric Bana. Two years later, she played a confidante to the youthful French queen in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette.

On television, Bryne is best known for her Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated work on the FX breakout hit "Damages," in which she plays a young attorney who's learning the ropes from her ruthless boss (Emmy winner Glenn Close).
