Rachel McAdams
Rachel McAdamsA chameleonic actress who established herself in the Canadian entertainment industry before making her way to Hollywood, Rachel McAdams was born in London, Ontario, Oct. 7, 1976. She first grabbed American audiences' attention playing a high schooler trapped in Rob Schneider's body in The Hot Chick (2002), a role that led to a memorable turn as "queen bee" Regina George in Mean Girls (2004).

Shedding her early screen persona as a vindictive teen villain, McAdams next played a nice girl in the 2004 romance The Notebook and followed up as Luke Wilson's love interest in Wedding Crashers (2005). She tried her hand at the terror genre in director Wes Craven's Red Eye and then transformed herself into a surly sister in The Family Stone (both 2005).

McAdams added to her big-screen résumé in 2007 by joining Pierce Brosnan and Oscar winner Chris Cooper in the period drama Married Life.
