Actor and Oscar-winning screenwriter (with fellow actor Ben Affleck for 1997's Good Will Hunting), Matt Damon exudes a boyish charm that's vaulted him to the front rank of bankable stars in Hollywood.Born Oct. 8, 1970, in Cambridge, Mass., Damon befriended neighbor Affleck in 1981. After making his feature debut (with one line) in 1988's Mystic Pizza, Damon performed with the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge and various Harvard theater groups.
