Kelly Macdonald
Kelly MacdonaldBorn on Feb. 23, 1976, in Glasgow, Scotland, Kelly Macdonald garnered critical acclaim for her film debut portraying Ewan McGregor's underage love interest in the 1996 film Trainspotting.

She went on to play a young Scottish prostitute trying to change her life in Stella Does Tricks, a tragic heiress in Cousin Bette, and a royal mistress in 1998's Elizabeth (with Cate Blanchett). In 2001, Macdonald gained greater recognition for her turn as a lady's maid in Robert Altman's award-winning film Gosford Park.

Her other notable movies include The Loss of Sexual Innocence (1999), Intermission (2003), Finding Neverland (2004; in which she donned green tights to play Peter Pan) and Nanny McPhee (2005). Television movies include the BBC's State of Play (2003) and HBO's The Girl in the Cafe (2005; for which she received an Emmy win and Golden Globe nomination).
