Josh Hartnett
Born July 21, 1978, in San Francisco, Josh Hartnett was raised in Minneapolis and attended State University of New York Purchase before making his small-screen debut in 1997 playing the troubled son of the titular character in the short-lived TV series "Cracker." A year later, Hartnett was proving his big-screen bankability with appearances in the teen slasher and sci-fi flicks Halloween: H20 and The Faculty.

Trading on his puppy dog eyes and considerable charm, Hartnett next landed the role of teen heartthrob Trip Fontaine in Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides (1999). With the new decade came bigger budgets and bigger parts -- including the plum role of Air Force pilot Danny Walker in Pearl Harbor (2001).

More recent films for Hartnett include Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down (2001), Sin City and Lucky Number Slevin (2006).
