Also during this time, Pryce made his film debut (in Voyage of the Damned), marking the beginning of a long career that would include impressive performances in films such as Terry Gilliam's Brazil, the David Mamet-penned Glengarry Glen Ross, 1993's The Age of Innocence, Evita and Carrington (for which he received a Best Actor prize at the Cannes Film Festival).
In the 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean (and its 2006 sequel), Pryce played Keira Knightley's father, and in 2005, he reunited with director Gilliam for The Brothers Grimm.
