John Slattery
John SlatteryBorn in Boston on Aug.13, 1962, and named after his father, John Slattery built a solid career on television -- starring as Pvt. Dylan Leeds in "Dirty Dozen: The Series" and as a union organizer in "Homefront" -- before making his film debut in City Hall (1996).

Small-screen character roles have remained the silver-haired actor's bread and butter. Before landing his Emmy-nominated role as cynical ad man Roger Sterling on the critically acclaimed AMC drama "Mad Men," Slattery turned in memorable guest appearances as Will's older brother on "Will & Grace," Amy's estranged husband on "Judging Amy," Carrie Bradshaw's "golden boy" politician on "Sex and the City" and Gabrielle Solis's deceased politician husband on "Desperate Housewives."

Slattery's film credits include Traffic (2000), Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and Charlie Wilson's War (2007).
