Tall, blond and buxom, Jennifer Coolidge is a comedic Amazon who's unafraid to mine her physical attributes to hilarious (and often unflattering) effect. Born Aug. 28, 1963, in Boston, Coolidge attended Emerson College before heading to New York City, where she became a member of the Gotham City Improv group. From there, it was on to Los Angeles' famed sketch comedy troupe, the Groundlings. After making her small-screen debut on "Seinfeld," Coolidge also began to appear on the big screen. But it wasn't until 1999's American Pie -- in which she plays a boozy mom who puts the make on her son's classmate -- that she found her breakthrough role.
Since then, Coolidge has worked in box office hits such as Best in Show (2000), Legally Blonde (2001), American Pie 2 (2001) and A Cinderella Story (2004) as well as on television, where she played Joey Tribbiani's agent on the sitcom "Joey."
