Chris Farley
Chris FarleyBorn February 15, 1964, in Madison, Wis., Chris Farley studied theatre and communications at Marquette University and immediately was recruited into the Chicago-based Second City improv group, where he was discovered by "Saturday Night Live" producer Lorne Michaels.

While on SNL (1990-95), Farley found time for small parts in films starring other SNL notables, including Wayne's World (1992) and its 1993 sequel, Coneheads (1993), Airheads (1994) and Billy Madison (1995). Farley landed his first starring role in Tommy Boy (1995), costarring his comic partner and fellow SNL cast member David Spade. The two later went on to make Black Sheep (1996).

Farley's first attempt at success without Spade was Beverly Hills Ninja (1997) and the ill-received Almost Heroes. An uncredited cameo in 1998's Dirty Work marked Farley's final film appearance before his drug-overdose death on December 18, 1997.
