Albert Finney
Albert FinneyBorn on May 9, 1936, in Manchester, England, Albert Finney graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and went on to become a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

After achieving critical success on the stage, Finney made his feature film debut in 1960's The Entertainer. A leading man known for his ability to play a wide range of characters, Finney soon became one of the brightest lights of the British Free Cinema movement of the early 1960s. His breakout role came in 1963's Tom Jones, which earned him his first Oscar nomination and made him an international star.

Finney has continued to divide his time between stage and screen over the years, earning four more Oscar nominations (for Murder on the Orient Express, The Dresser, Under the Volcano and Erin Brockovich). Other notable films include Two for the Road, Shoot the Moon, Miller's Crossing, The Playboys and Big Fish.
