William Baldwin
Born Feb. 21, 1963, in Massapequa, N.Y. -- the third of four actor brothers in the boisterous Baldwin clan -- William was a successful amateur wrestler who had served as a congressional aide when he decided to try his hand at modeling and acting.

After landing several high-profile modeling jobs, Baldwin made his acting debut in the 1989 TV movie The Preppie Murder as killer Robert Chambers. After appearing in Internal Affairs and Flatliners, Baldwin finally achieved stardom playing firefighter Brian McCaffrey in the 1991 blockbuster Backdraft.

Several starring film roles followed, running the gamut from the erotic thrillers Sliver and Fair Game to the award-winning indie drama The Squid and the Whale. In 2007, Baldwin began playing the role of Patrick Darling, a rising political star with a complicated love life, on the TV drama "Dirty Sexy Money."
