Foolish Wives

Erich von Stroheim's classic silent film revolves around the actions of the count (played by Von Stroheim) and two of his mistresses, who pose as his cousins while they set about separating rich ladies from their fortunes. Many of the girls interviewed take part in GEMS, a shelter and mentoring program founded by activist Rachel Lloyd -- once a prostitute herself -- that helps them transition out of "the life."

Powder Blue

Gritty stories of loss and redemption collide on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles, where a shy mortician (Eddie Redmayne) falls for a single-mom stripper (Jessica Biel), and a desperate ex-priest (Forest Whitaker) forges an unlikely bond with a transsexual prostitute (Alejandro Romero). Braveheart
