One of America's most popular television families makes its national debut in the first season of this long-running 1980s sitcom. Dumping the stay-at-home-mom formula, Maggie Seaver (Joanna Kerns) goes back to work as a journalist, while Jason (Alan Thicke) keeps the home fires burning as a work-from-home psychiatrist. Meanwhile, their children, Mike (Kirk Cameron), Carol (Tracey Gold) and Ben (Jeremy Miller), keep things interesting.
