Alabama firebrand George Wallace began his career with a reputation as a progressive on racial issues; however, he eventually became a symbol of the worst kind of American bigotry. This documentary follows Wallace from his early career to his rise to power as governor of Alabama and the assassination attempt that ended his career. Narrated by Randy Quaid, Settin' the Woods on Fire won a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
