Season 8 of this World War II British comedy finds the German army struggling and French resistance supporter René (Gorden Kaye) enjoying a period of relative calm, until problems with Yvette (Vicki Michelle) and the Fallen Madonna painting arise. Resistance leader Michelle (Kirsten Cooke) tries to start a propaganda radio station, Von Strohm (Richard Marner) attempts to rob a German truck, and Von Klinkerhoffen considers assassinating Hitler.
