The fashion world is turned upside down when beautiful and utterly empty-headed male model Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller, who also wrote and directed this comedy) discovers that fashion mogul Jacobim Mogatu (Will Ferrell) is behind a plot to assassinate the prime minister of Malaysia. But that's secondary to Derek's rivalry with rising star Hansel (Owen Wilson), his budding romance with Mathilda and the perfection of his new look, Blue Steel.
