In this installment of the popular series about a blind swordsman, Zatoichi (Shintaro Katsu) must save his hometown from being terrorized by thugs. Back in town, Zatoichi discovers a sister he never knew and finds the townspeople suffering at the hands of the local Yakuza. When the blind samurai learns that his old friend is the one terrorizing the villagers, he faces some tough decisions. Also stars Kei Sato, Takashi Shimura and Eiji Okada.
