Legendary star of the silver screen Dick Powell hosts this Western anthology series from the mid-1950s that takes its inspiration from the short stories of Zane Grey, although it eventually drew from other sources as well. With each episode a stand-alone story, the show's first season featured appearances from a long list of Hollywood heavies, including Jack Palance, Jack Lemmon, Ernest Borgnine, Lloyd Bridges, Cloris Leachman and more.
