Director Andrew Lau's Hong Kong action thriller chronicles the early lives of Chan Ho-Nam (teen icon Nicholas Tse) and Chicken (Sam Lee) from the Young and Dangerous franchise. Itching to get out of the projects and hit the big time, the two compatriots join the triads and must surmount petty internecine conflicts, incessant turf wars and betrayal in their struggle to land at the top of the criminal underworld.
