Amateur inventor Sam Bisbee (W.C. Fields) is convinced that his latest creation -- a puncture-proof tire that repels bullets -- will bring him the success he's always wanted and allow his daughter (Joan Marsh) to marry the man she loves. But his dreams go up in smoke when he demonstrates the product with disastrous results. Can a princess (Adrienne Ames) posing as an ordinary person help turn his life around?
