Groucho Marx, legendary comedian and Hollywood icon, hosts this seminal quiz show from the 1950s, where teams of contestants attempt to correctly answer categorized questions and dodge barbs from their quick-witted host. Originally launched as a radio quiz show in 1947 with announcer George Fenneman, Marx's sidekick, "You Bet Your Life" was one of the early templates for televised game shows to follow and made Marx a household name.
