A successful career woman and former thief (Sammi Cheng) is ecstatic when her wealthy boyfriend, Steve (Carl Wu), proposes and promises to give her all of his family's priceless assets. The night before the wedding, two separate groups of burglars break in to steal her jewelry, and she recognizes one of them as her former lover and partner in crime (Andy Lau). Sparks begin to fly when the two find they still have feelings for each other.
