Xena's dark secrets are finally revealed as Gabrielle learns of her past as a Valkyrie, and the pair set out to kill the beast Grunhilda and recover the Rheingold ring. This season also finds Xena doing battle with the Amazon-hunting Prince Morloch, sadistic Roman emperor Caligula and sneaky Ares.
