Paul Hoffman's documentary chronicles the hardscrabble life of superfan Ronnie "Woo Woo" Wickers, whose love affair with the Chicago Cubs began in 1947, when his grandmother took him to see Jackie Robinson play. Surviving an abusive mother and several years spent on the streets, Wickers finds a home in Wrigley Field and a family among fellow fans, as his "Cubs Woo, Cubs Woo" chant grows to a stadium-wide rallying cry.
