When his new Jamaican neighbor, Dennis Samuels (Delroy Lindo), offers to coach cricket-mad adolescent David Wiseman (Sam Smith), the gesture sparks racial hostility in this coming-of-age tale set in 1960 London. David -- who lacks the skills to play the game -- eventually earns a spot on his school's cricket squad thanks to Dennis … and learns a few lessons about bigotry in the process.
