Boarding-school students in 1960s France explore the consequences of their sexual awakenings in this film from director André Téchiné. Against dynamic landscapes and the subtle backdrop of France's war in Algeria, the teenaged François (Gaël Morel) struggles with his newfound sexual attraction for schoolmate Serge (Stéphane Rideau), which complicates his platonic friendship with Maïté (Élodie Bouchez).
