Desperate for cash, grifter Richie Greene (Frank Whaley) agrees to look after his long-lost, ailing grandmother, Clyde (Marion Ross of "Happy Days") -- a woman he's never met -- so that he can inherit her estate. But his expectations of finding someone who's fragile and frail are shattered when he arrives to find Clyde feisty and full of life. Unfortunately, it's a problem the merciless loan shark on Richie's tail isn't likely to understand.
