Meet the Daltons (Brian Donlevy, Broderick Crawford, Stuart Erwin and Mary Gordon), a proud Kansas ranching family whose land is being targeted by corrupt and powerful developers for a takeover. With the help of their friend, attorney Tod Jackson (Randolph Scott), they'll go down fighting, holding on until they've exhausted all their legal means. But when crooks pin a murder charge on them, Jackson is torn between loyalty and propriety.
