Set against the backdrop of a small Texas town, writer-director Jane Cusumano's touching drama centers on the star-crossed romance between cattle ranch heir Lucas Warner (Chad Allen) and working-class teen Heather Stone (Polly Cole). Loosely based on Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," this contemporary adaptation also stars Tamara Clatterbuck as Heather's hardworking mother, Anita, and Marshall R. Teague as Lucas's overbearing father, Raymond.
